Claim: According to Al Jazeera, a shipwreck discovered off the coast of Turkey is claimed to be the world's oldest known.

What we found: The report states that the analysis of clay from storage jars retrieved from the site ties them to early historical workshops in the Jordan Valley. This suggests a connection to ancient trade routes, but no specific dating has been provided for the wreck itself in the available excerpt.

Verdict: Unconfirmed. While the clay analysis provides intriguing links to early historical manufacturing, the claim that this is the world's oldest shipwreck remains without specific evidence or dating details in the presented report.
