The US Coast Guard has called off its search for a medical jet that vanished over the Atlantic, according to Al Jazeera. Debris believed to be from the aircraft was located near Nantucket island.
The medical jet was carrying six people when it disappeared during its journey from Bermuda to Boston. Rescue teams scoured the area but found no signs of survivors.
Local residents in Nantucket expressed their concern as debris washed ashore. "It’s tragic to think of what might have happened up there," one local said.
