Claim: Sagal Abdi-Wali is the first Somali-born refugee woman elected to the UK Parliament, according to Al Jazeera.

What we found: The Labour Party has successfully seen Sagal Abdi-Wali, originally from Somalia and a refugee, being elected as a Member of Parliament in the UK. This marks a significant milestone as she is recognized as the first woman of Somali origin with a refugee background to hold such a position.

Verdict: Confirmed. Al Jazeera reports her unique achievement, and no evidence contradicts this historical milestone.
